Saint Katharine Drexel Food Pantry and Clothing Cupboard is an outreach ministry located at St. Katharine Drexel Evangelization Center in Chester, PA. Located at 1408 West 2nd Street (2nd & Norris Streets), the pantry and cupboard are a resource of hope and comfort for those individuals and families in need.
Our ministry is rooted in the Gospel mandate of Love for one another. We proudly serve the local community with compassion, love, joy and hope. We welcome those who are in need regardless of religious affiliation or belief. Our food distribution nourishes; our clothing donations cover and clothe the body; while our service brings dignity and unites us in our common humanity.
"If we wish to serve God and love our neighbor well, we must manifest our joy in the service we render to Him and them. Let us open wide our hearts. It is joy which invites us. Press forward and fear nothing." ~Katharine Drexel
The "Friends of St. Katharine Drexel" is our designation for those individuals who serve outside our parish community and who graciously support us through monthly recurring donations. Kindly consider joining our mission of growing St. Katharine Drexel Food Pantry & Clothing Cupboard into a national leader among Urban parishes serving economically depressed areas with multi-ethnic parishioners.
Our pantry and food cupboard entrance is located on Norris Street off of 2nd Street (291 & Norris Street). The food pantry is open: Monday & Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. for donations.
